Burger King is trying to merge with the Canadian industry, Tim Hortons. They're doing this so Burger King can avoid hefty U.S. taxes. They would still be taxed within the country, but the Burger King's that are not in the country will not be taxed.
Some people are upset and believe they should boycott the company.
